According to the current investigation, flight from New York to London increased up to $229 for one way trip on many airline companies.

However, nine government fees and taxes added $162 for more than fourth part of the total price of the ticket. Fees for baggages may be the reason of many passengers is complaining, but airline companies are calming to draw attention to other expenses waiting in the fine print.

In addition, all of the fees and taxes that go toward the projects of the airport, security of the airport, air traffic control and customs inspections. Moreover, most of the taxes are very little for every individual, but they can add up to an important share of the ticket price, especially for the flights internationally.

Furthermore, there are also some argument about exactly how much ticket taxes have increased in current years, the representatives of airlines said that the governments are progressively turning to travelers to expand income in bend times, and that there is small misunderstanding over how the money is consumed.

According to David A. Castelveter, the spokesperson of the Air Transport Association, they were taxed exclusively too much. Castelveter also added that they cannot have outside affiliations attaining for more when the industry of airlines is losing billions of dollars. They are also thinking that there is other way to fund those programs that people want to initiate.

Moreover, when travelling within the United States, there are four fundamental taxes on airfares. The first two taxes go to the Airway Trust Fund and Airport that funds the Federal Aviation Administration; the charges for the facility of the passengers are passed to the airports. Furthermore, the fees for the security finance the Transportation Security Administration.
