Sandra Bullock acquired a temporary restraining order against a 41-year-old man who stalks the award-winning actress since 2003, on Monday.
The lead attorney of Sandra Bullock acquired the order to protect the actress from Thomas James Weldon who has been accused and ordered to keep distance from the 45-year-old actress. The hearing is scheduled this coming August 06, 2010.
The first restraining order was given to Bullock was in year 2003. However, the order was already expired last year. In addition, Weldon was willingly entered a mental institution in Tennessee and Oscar-award winning actress requested the court to give information in the released date of Weldon.
According to the court, Weldon was sent to the hospital in Wyoming last month because of sleeplessness and anxiety. Weldon also told the staff of the hospital that he had driven from Tennessee in a try to meet Bullock in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
The doctor interview Weldon in the hospital and he said that Weldon think that he is communicating with Bullock through telepathy. Weldon also told doctors that he has not taking his medicines. According to Dr. Jiri Danczik, psychiatrist in the hospital, Weldon’s obsession with Sandra Bullock is too obvious.
However, it is not clear whether Weldon was out in the mental institution or not. Ed McPherson, Bullock’s attorney filed an affirmation stating that Weldon has sent the actress numbers of faxes and emails in past years.
The court fillings of Sandra Bullock accused Thomas James Weldon of frequently annoying to contact Bullock. In addition, Weldon also travels everywhere in the country in trying to meet with Bullock. The court said that Bullock never met Weldon in any cases.
The restraining order implies that Weldon cannot reach Bullock and to be contacted any of the telephone numbers of the actress. Weldon cannot go any in the movie sets of Bullock too.
