Kyle Parker cut-off date arrives with no verification, yet

Today, Clemson’s Kyle Parker was or is supposed to be his D-Day. Parker’s family put July 20 as the cut-off date for him to make a decision whether he was going to have a deal with the Rockies and focus only on playing baseball or sign with the Rox for fewer cash and come back for another year of playing football. As of this moment Parker still do not have decision.

This is definitely a deadline without any strings attached. There is not anything saying it cannot extend from today and it is looking much like it will. Colorado has a date until August to settle the negotiation with Parker. The story behind the date July 20 was to provide Dabo Swinney and his team plenty amount of time for them to know if they going to have their current quarterback running the group or not.

Colorado state that it will take for about two million dollars for Parker to leave football. If it happened that Parker chose to play football for the Rockies, they will pay about partly of that and extend out the signing additional benefit until he is done on the grating.

Parker could be close on signing a deal with the Rockies as a result coming from Denver stated.

As of now he still caught in the middle and has not decided yet on which side will he take if a baseball career or a football career. Otherwise, the decision is ultimately upon him.

Swinney will have a press conference with the media around 1:00 today at his yearly media golf outing. There is a possibility that media men will go to ask him various questions with regards to Parker. Moreover, catch Dabo live in a Sportstalk tonight at around 6:15.
