Jodie Fisher is at the center of the sexual harassment charge that forced the resignation of Hewlett-Packard (HP) CEO Mark Hurd.
Hurd lost his job as HP’s CEO against the allegations of fraud as well as sex scandal that involves a sexual harassment charge.
Today, after Hurd lost his profession and annual payment that was as high as $42 million last year, it was announced on Sunday that businessperson and actress Jodie Fisher was the woman at the center of this sex scandal charge. The 50-year-old actress knew Hurd because of her job contract with the marketing department of HP from 2007 until 2009. The company paid her about $5,000 per occasion to greet the guests and introduce the executives who are attending HP events, and she is a part of organizing the events.
The New York Daily News affirmed that the actress says she is regretful that the HP’s executive lost his job because of the issue, and that they never has an affair.
The sexual harassment charge established the chain of events leading to the revelation of the allegedly falsified documents for their dinner that later on ended in Hurd’s forced resignation last Friday from the largest technology firm in the world.
Fisher acknowledged that she and the Mark Hurd have arranged the issue. A source who is familiar with the case revealed to the Associate Press that the former HP CEO agreed to pay her yet wouldn’t reveal the amount of the deal.
It is clear that there is more to this issue than people understand and both fisher and Hurd know the truth, although they are not talking.
