An Iranian extremity group took responsibility for the pair of suicide bombings in Southeastern Iranian city of Zahedan on Thursday.
The two bombings in Zahedan killed at least 27 people and wounded dozens more. The Iranian extremity group claimed the bombings in Zahedan.
According to group, the operation is due to the continuous crimes that are committed by the Iranian regime in Balochistan. They also said that the two suicide bombers sacrificed themselves to humiliate the regime and they want to prove that their misery will only end up with Jihad.
The statement is announced in the official website of Jundallah which is also known as the People’s Resistance Movement of Iran.
According to Yadollah Javani, the head of the Revolutionary Corps’ political bureau, the terrorist groups that are under the patronage of Israel, United States and some western countries were involved in the suicide bombing.
According to Iran’s State news agency, the blast happened in front of Zahedan’s Grand Mosque and the second explosion comes after a couple of minutes. Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi, health minister, said that the casualties in the suicide bombing reached 27 on Friday. He said that almost 270 people are injured and 11 people are in critical condition.
According to IRNA, the police that they interviewed said that they are not yet sure of the casualties in the bombings so they do not know what to announce. They are not yet sure of the number of injured and dead people.
According to a lawmaker, one of the suicide bombers is a woman. He said that a woman is trying to enter the Jam-e Mosque before the explosion. The woman was prevented from entering. They are not yet sure if that woman is really the suicide bomber.
The lawmaker said that three or four people died on the first explosion. They tried to help the injured people but the other suicide bomber detonated the second bomb.
