Conservationists in UK seek help from their people to track down the butterfly population in their region.
There is an online Big Butterfly Count survey asking the people to help them recognized which particular species of the butterfly needed most of their assistance.
Experts say that butterflies are the most sensitive species with regard to the changes that occur in the environment. For the past three decades they have observed that a massive number of butterflies collapsed.
According to their study, around 75 percent of its 59 species that usually found in the British Isles decreased In numbers, which includes the meadow brown.
Some of the butterflies family that once recorded s a common species in the past, which the experts believed that is in need to be a part of their protection list, such as the holly blue and the gate keeper.
The survey was held with the joint charity program by the retailer Mark and Spencer and the charity Butterfly Conservation, with their aim to continue their commitment to help the environment.
Everyone were invited, children and adults alike were invite d to spend few minutes of their time in the gardens. With a minimum of 15 minutes in the woodlands, parks, forest and fields from July 24-August 1, to record the butterflies and species like day-flying moths they can distinguished throughout the place.
The organizers of this event hope to save the life of the countries butterfly, to promote healthy countryside and nature.
Butterfly Conservation said that almost half of the butterfly’s species were in jeopardy.
Butterfly population hit its lowest number in the past three years, due to the poor summer condition and the lost and dilapidation of their habitat causes by housing projects and cleaning-up of parks.
According to the president of the Butterfly Conservation, butterflies are very significant for us, their lost and declination in numbers in nature can be a warning for us that other part of the wild life will be near in to their near extinction.
