Singer turned actor Billy Ray Cyrus is now teaming up with his son on paranormal TV series, after he starred with daughter Miley Cyrus on the Disney’s hit show Hannah Montana for four years.

Billy Ray alongside his son Trace will appear in the TV series “UFO: Unbelievably Freakin’ Obvious,” which will be out in the cable network SyFy. Billy Ray and Trace are sought to investigate different conspiracy theories that they will unravel on the course of the show.

Moreover, Mark Stern, head of programming for the NBC Universal-owned cable network said that audience wants genuine, convincing and informative storytelling that pushes to the limit of the normal world.

Stern also added that allegations of hoaxes and cover-ups about unexplained events and phenomena have raised a heated dispute of that matter for a number of decades now. Seemingly, he said that it will be interesting to know on what result Billy Ray and Trace can discover along the way, and if they can find the answer to every question regarding unexplained happenings.

Furthermore, Billy Ray said that the occurrence of paranormal phenomena is something he wanted to explore for quite some time now. He also added that he wants to take one step closer to revealing the truth in these phenomena.

In addition, he also said that having the chance to take the adventure alongside with his son, who also showed enthusiasm in this area, is a dream come true to the both of them.

Billy Ray Cyrus was best known for his huge number one hit Achy Breaky Heart, and became the first single to ever achieve triple platinum status in Australia and its 1992’s best selling single.

Meanwhile Trace Cyrus was the songwriter, guitarist and vocalist of the band Metro Station before the band was disbanded.
